Congratulations to (the new) Dr. Marissa Filderman! She successfully defended her doctoral dissertation—via Zoom—and knocked it out of the park.
Her dissertation was titled “Using Student Data to Improve Response to a Multisyllabic Word Reading Intervention: The Effects of Varying Levels of Data Use.”
Marissa will be starting as an assistant professor in the Department of Special Education and Multiple Abilities at the University of Alabama this fall.
